Founded in 2002, Diversity in Action~Phoenixville has been working for racial and social justice in our region for over two decades. 

Over the years, we have:

1. led dialogue circles on racial justice topics,
2. sponsored book, dinner, and film clubs;
3. held a monthly educational meeting on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at the Phoenixville Rec Center;
4. hosted a monthly vigil at Bridge & Main Streets downtown in support of Black Lives Matter. 
5. strengthened partnerships and collaboration between various stakeholders in the borough;
6. co-founded the Phoenixville Juneteenth Celebration;
7. hosted an annual multicultural festival; 
8. helped to lead and build community in matters of peace and justice. 

We became an official nonprofit in 2017. 

In addition to our monthly educational meeting (3rd Tuesday of the month, 7 pm, Phoenixville Recreation Center) and vigil (3rd Thursday of the month, 7 pm, corner of Bridge and Main Street), we are also working on the renewal of Phoenixville’s Civil War Centennial Memorial in Reeves Park.
