Monthly We Are Vigil
We will gather in-person from 7-7:30 for our monthly community “We Are” Vigil in solidarity with Black Lives Matter and justice for all people, especially our immigrant neighbors. As we gather, we remember our black, brown, and indigenous brothers and sisters who have lost their lives to racial violence, and we raise our peaceful voices of witness in this fearful moment.
Please join the vigil on the corner of Bridge and Main Streets in Phoenixville at Renaissance Park by the mural site.
Those who feel safer wearing a mask are encouraged to do so. Carry or wear signs in support of Black Lives Matter, if you are able. (Extra signs are available, and we do have signs for sale again! The charge of $15 includes a small donation to Diversity in Action ~ Phoenixville.) The intent of these monthly vigils is to sustain a peaceful public presence in solidarity with Black Lives Matter and justice for all.
Please share this invitation within your circles, and with family and friends.
Parking: In addition to the Phoenixville Borough parking lots, alternative parking is available for a donation in the First Presbyterian Church lot at 145 Main Street, or at the Phoenixville Senior Center at 153 Church Street. Signs in each lot will explain how to make a donation.
