Educate the public about our region’s roles in both racial oppression and liberation.
Encourage visitors to dwell with the past and contemplate a more just future together.
Model for the nation how to use public memory to heal the racial and economic trauma inflicted on all of us by white supremacy.
Provide a welcoming and sacred gathering place for individual and communal spiritual renewal.
